Cowboy is currently being fostered in Houston. He is availble for out-of-state adoption to an amazing family. Unfortunately an in person meeting prior to adoption is not a possibility for out-of-state adoptions. Cowboy was found in October wandering the roads at an apartment complex entrance in Houston TX. While the beginning of his life is unknown residents of the complex said he was dumped and had been hanging around for over a week. He was very apprehensive and untrusting at first but within the hour attached and opened up to his finder. He is approximately 1 year old weighing around 50 pounds and is believed to be a Boxer mix. He has a very laid back personality but can also turn on the charm when it s time to play. His confidence is a little low but growing with every day. He is currently in a board and train program learning all the basic obedience he needs for his forever home. Cowboy is crate trained potty trained and his obedience training will include him being able to walk properly on leash sit stay on command along with general recall. He gets along well with other dogs both big and small is great with kids and although is has not yet been tested with cats the dog trainer is confident there will not be an issue with him and cats. He s a gentle easy-going guy that loves to be close to his human. If you sit he wants to sit so close that he s touching you. If you want a large lap dog he s the one for you Cowboy is current on all vaccinations has been neutered and is heart worm negative.Cowboy s adoption fee is 500 which covers his transport costs and he is of course fully vetted.
