From his build we are thinking he is a Border collie Aussie mix. JACK is just starting to lose his baby teeth. He loves chew toys and has high interest tennis balls. He is a confident young man who gets along very well with all of our other dogs (two male two female) and people. He did not seem very interested in our cat. From his first morning in new surroundings with four other adult dogs he was undaunted. JACK ran and played and had a great time. His favorite activity was chasing foster Duncan (also available) all over the yard. We thought all that running would make JACK a tired boy but alas he has a lot of energy in that tank of his. He will need an active family with whom he can partake in many fun activities. He has potential as an agility dog if that s something of interest. He is quite graceful while running and jumping. As you will see from some of his photos he had access to agility equipment and a creek at his previous foster home and enjoyed both.JACK seems pretty smart. We are working on potty and crate training. He stays fairly quiet in his crate until it is time for him to go potty. So far when he is getting noisy and active in his crate it seems an indication it is time for a trip outside for potty break then play time. He even made it though is first day and night with no house or crate accidents. He slept quietly through the night after a very active day. JACK is learning basic commands. He sits politely when approaching or awaiting his meal. We are working on having him sit on command as well as working on his recall. Being treat toy and praise motivated should make him a blast to train. JACK is a delight to be around. JACK is started on his puppy vaccines wormed and microchipped. As a condition of puppy adoption he will need to be altered by his new owner when he reaches approximately 6 months (specific time to be determined by your vet). In addition to the adoption fee puppy adoption requires a 100 spay neuter deposit. Upon our receiving the spay neuter certificate from you the deposit is refunded.
