Maggie is a beautiful 20-year-old female Moluccan cockatoo who was brought to the FFSR as a result of her owner s unrelated illness. She is a very affectionate bird but has gotten a little protective of her cage as she was unable to get out much over the past year or so due to her owner s illness. Maggie s vocabulary includes phrases like I love you baby hello hi watch out as well as an indecipherable but very entertaining stream of utterances. Maggie is very playful (she enjoys playing peek-a-boo ) and works well with pets too - she likes talking to cats in particular. That said she does tend to get quite loud in response to dogs who like to bark so dog-owners should keep this in mind. Overall Maggie is a well-adjusted talkative parrot with a sunny disposition who has only known one home prior to coming to FFSR. She hopes to find her forever family soon.
