Check our Lucy s video here -XX -.--X.- watch v PjhzWHtuGgALucy is about 10 years old 15 hands tall. She s a grade Quarter Horse mare. Lucy is healthy and sound to the best of our knowledge. She s recently finished 35 days professional training and has a good walk trot lope stop and back up. She will ride alone or with others and she rides in the arena or on trails. Lucy rides with a bit or hackamore. Lucy is currently being ridden regularly by our volunteers and is getting calmer and more laid back with each ride. Since she is still green in her training we don t recommend her for a beginner yet (unless the beginner planned to get her further training or work under a trainer). She has potential to be a beginner horse as she completes further training though.Our horses have received their basic vaccinations (Rabies vaccine EWT combo vaccine) at the time of adoption. They have been dewormed and have a negative Coggins test as well. All horses have received a hoof assessment and trimming. Horses are also microchipped.If you cannot adopt but would like to help consider sponsoring a horse by donating through the sponsor a pet button. This money will help us provide for this horse and others - even a small donation goes a long way towards helping us save more pets We do our best to determine what amount of training they have had and to represent them as accurately as possible. However we usually do not know the history of our horses so we determine training by how the horses act after we get them. We desire for our horses to find a good home where the horse will be a good fit with the person adoption him her. With that goal in mind we do our best to accurately represent everything good and bad with our horses. CARE provides one week free boarding until you can pick up your new horse.
