Steve and Charlie were purchased at a pet store but their family was moving and couldn t take them. They are bonded and must be adopted together. Both are very sweet curious enjoy being petted and seek out human attention. They will require a yearly vet exam and routine nail trimming. When they arrived here their nails were very very long but both were easy to do nail trims on. We think they would be fine for any family.In our Rabbit Romper Room both of these two loved having extra space to run and do bunny binky s. They also enjoyed having a variety of toys to play with. Make sure to offer a variety of rabbit safe toys and chewing items. Steve can be startled sometimes by noises so a quieter home would be best.All rabbits need time outside of their enclosure to burn off energy and to kick up their feet A long hallway or a room they haven t been in before will do the trick. Getting out of their enclosure for 2-3 hours a day is critical. Not only does it help with boredom but it helps with moving their food through their delicate system.They should eat unlimited amounts of Timothy Oat hay and or Orchard Grass hay 2-3 tablespoons of pellets each (no dried fruit or nut mixes) a small handful of veggies and an occasional piece of fruit as a treat.
