Olive - Female German Shepherd DogHusky Mix

I m Olive a 60 lb female mixed breed dog turning 3 years old in April. In terms of my outstanding looks I seem to be a small German Shepherd Husky mix. I am a very affectionate dog that loves to give kisses. Even at my size I believe I am a perfect lap dog and like to prove it by cuddling endlessly on the couch while watching TV or on the bed or on your lap if you will let me. Some of my talents include going on hikes eating out the vegetable garden and assisting with kitchen tasks by cleaning the kitchen floors for you. I have a medium energy level and need 30-45 minutes of exercise walk every day. I also love car rides especially if I can look out at the window and observe everything that s going on. I am very playful and love it when my owners play fight and run around with me. My knowledge of commands and tricks is quite impressive I aced my puppy class If you have some yummy grain-free treats to share I can show you how well I can go out of the kitchen go downstairs bow circle right or left crawl get off shake a paw etc. I did really well at beginner s agility and have had a lot of experience with private training sessions. I am housetrained kennel trained muzzle trained can walk off leash if there are no dogs around and can also be left on my own while my owners are at work with no problem.I love people and am good with cats and currently live with one but am not very good with other dogs. In fact I have started acting up even around the other dog in the home that I grew up with. This is the main reason why I am now looking for a new home. My recent altercation with my fur brother has resulted in the city of Coquitlam labeling me as a dog-aggressive dog. So my owners do not feel comfortable leaving us on our own and unsupervised in the house. They are also planning to have kids in the near future and although they are not worried about me hurting their children as I have not shown any aggressive tendencies towards kids they do worry that an altercation between me and their other dog could put young kids at risk. I should also not be taken to dog parks because it might spark my aggressive tendencies. My owners were originally planning to enroll me in further training classes (specifically reactive rover classes at the Good Dog Training of Port Coquitlam) but have instead decided to offer to pay for my future family and me to go to those classes instead. I have had some allergies to some grains so need to be on a grain free diet (including grain free treats). I know my dog aggression makes me more difficult to adopt but I really am a great dog with a lot of love to give. I just hope I find a home that will give me a chance and work with me to manage my issues and help me be even better than I already am.I am spayed microchipped and have up to date vaccinations. My adoption fee is 300.... More Info
