Refurbished mid-1900 s Electric GIBRALTAR Ship s Wheel Clock. Based on the design and materials used it was likely built during the 1940 s. The clock measures 7 spoke to spoke and is mounted on a 12 x 4 x 1 Cherry Wood base with a clock saddle attached. Also included are 110 volt port and starboard lights with solid brass cages containing red and green translucent inserts. The 5 clock bezel holds a convex (domed) plastic window while the clock face has Arabic numerals and is signed Gibraltar Precision Self - Starting GIBRALTAR MFG. CO. INC JERSEY CITY N.J. . Also included is an on off light switch plus original power cord and plug. The spokes bezel and light bases are bass plated tin and the clock back is painted tin. This unit is absolutely original and is in near new condition. It keeps good time but there is no assurance it will after being shipped.
