Izzy - Female Rottweiler

They came to us from a shelter in Virginia where they were dropped off due to a divorce. Izzy was reported to be around seven years old but she acts like a puppy. Izzy is very well behaved and very loving. She loves to play but will settle down very quickly and be lazy she is an inside couch potato. Izzy is not a big fan of the crate. She is housebroken and doesn t chew on things that don t belong to her. She is good with other dogs both small and large and good with CATS She is also very good with kids. We were told that she lived with kids at her previous home and got to sleep with them at night. Izzy along with her brother was pretty shy and reserved when she first got to her foster home but it only took a few days for her personality to shine through. She is one very awesome dog Izzy loves to bark at the vacuum cleaner and also likes to bark at animals on television. She loves to watch television. Izzy likes to ride in the car. She behaves very well at the vet and the groomer. She is not fond of getting her nails done but she eventually gives in. Izzy and Ozzy will let you know when someone enters the house. They are very good watch dogs. She walks very well on leash and knows sit down and comes when called. She is currently working on learning other commands. Step 3 After you have received confirmation from our Lead Adoption Coordinator your application will then be forwarded to communicate with one of our Adoption Coordinators. The Adoption Coordinator is your point of contact during the adoption process Step 4 Once the Adoption Coordinator has finished processing your application a volunteer will be selected to contact you to schedule a home visit. Home visits allow us to see where the dog will live discuss any questions you have and review our adoption contract. Step 5 Once the application process is completed the adoption package goes to the board of directors for a 24 hour review.
