Our rescue will be at the Palo Alto Pet Food Express Saturday July 2nd and Sunday July 3rd from 12-3pm. All of our dogs are spayed neutered shots current (DHPP Bordetella and Rabies where applicable) dewormed flea and tick treated and microchipped. If you are interested in a dog please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio ) and then go to our website -.---.- for an application. We do not have a facility. All dogs live in foster homes. Arrangements to meet dogs occur after an approved application has been accepted. We do not ship our dogs for any reason. Our adoption fee is 400 for each dog puppy. If it is on a weekend of our adoptions follow us on (at)DPSRescue on Twitter to get real time updates on our adoptions. However we do meet with those who submit an application and are approved just prior to the event (by invitation only) and they are given the first opportunity to adopt. If you are interested in one of our dogs we recommend filling out an application prior to the event to be considered. Applications submitted within 24 hours of the event may not necessarily be reviewed. Goldie Hawn is a 1 year old Golden Retriever mix who weighs about 35lbs but she s a little pudgy. She is definitely on the small size. If you re looking for a medium size Golden then she s a good option. She is everything in personality of a Golden that people love. She is full of life and full spirit. She hasn t met a stranger yet. She gets along well with everyone she has met whether 2 legged or 4 legged. She is currently living in a foster home with dogs cats and kids. She is a great with big and little dogs. She loves to play and it s usually full throttle and then completely worn out and exhausted and then rest and up again Goldie is an option to live with cats. She is an option for kids over the age of 7. Goldie is definitely a retriever in activity level. She s a great option for those who hike bike run or are into outdoor activities. She will need a home that is ready to engage their dog with activities because she s not a couch potato. Now after a full day she loves nothing more than coming in and curling up with her people but you gotta wear her out first If you re into agility or such she is probably a great option too. She s not just looks she has brains too. Goldie is only an option for a home that has had a dog in the last 3 years. Not all of our dogs go to each adoption event. We want to make sure if you are interested in a dog that we have the dog at adoptions but that can only happen if you fill out an application ahead of time and are pre-approved. (Generally this must happen prior to the weekend) If you are wanting to submit an application within 24 hours of an event please print off the application and bring with you as well as submitting it.
