This wonderful little fella is Billy a purebred Beagle who is most likely between 1 and 2 years of age and weighs currently 28 pounds. Billy definitely acts puppyish - grabbing a towel sock or even shoe and running around the house with them. He does respond quickly though when corrected. However Billy is easily frightened if you raise your voice to him he will run away and pancake to the ground expecting harm. His adopter will need a gentle firmness with Billy to guide him to good behaviors vs scolding him positive rewards all the way for this little one Billy is on the shy side initially taking time to warm up to people he doesn t know. BUT he has no issues with other dogs. In fact he absolutely loves them seeking them out because he feels secure with them. Therefore we are seeking an adoptive home that has a dog or two already in it to help Billy feel safe as well as be a play buddy. Billy can easily jump up onto your bed to get some cuddle time or to take a nap. His foster mom lays on the floor and hugs and kisses him. You won t be sorry Billy is undergoing treatment for tick-born diseases with antibiotics. He has one more month of antibiotics and he should be all clear of the condition.
