About a week ago I was surfing through Facebook and came across a picture of a very handsome boy who we nicknamed Toast. Like many dogs Toast was a Southern California Pitbull on death row so to speak. To save Toast he had to be adopted pulled from the shelter and transported here. Toast arrived yesterday there is no way to anticipate just how SWEET and LOVABLE he is He gave kisses loved belly rubs and reacted nicely to both of my dogs one of which is a male also (and only 40 pounds). It is evident through his behavior that he has never been kept indoors. Toast was afraid of the television and other household objects but in a few hours adjusted tremendously. He will take training as he is not potty trained although he responds to corrections well. He also has a tendency to jump up. But despite these behaviors he is fantastic. He is one of the easiest going loving dogs. I am very very happy that he could be rescued but now I m searching for his FOREVER home. According to Tonya who met him this guy is a huge SUPER SWEET VERY FRIENDLY GENTLE BUFF HANDSOME PICTURESQUE PIT BULL. His coat is gorgeous he didn t bark or jump at the fence when she walked up. He knows SIT he knows shake looks to be in good condition and has beautiful markings. His owner thought it would be cool to hack off his ears...probably to make his dog look tough but he s a sweetie and no bad ear job will change that. He is kenneled alone so we don t know how he is with other dogs. If anyone can save this guy TODAY please let Devore know you re coming.
