Carmen was brought to us with her gal pal Cassidy about a month ago. Cassidy has since been adopted and Carmen is hoping she s next. Carmen is an extremely gentle soul who loves to just be held and doted on. She s very sweet and knows how to cheer you up when you re down. Carmen is a bit apprehensive upon initial meeting but will warm up to you within seconds. Carmen gets along well with other dogs and tends to be more on the submissive side. She s got big innocent beautiful eyes that just melt your heart. If you re looking for a very calm sweet girl who will sit with you happily for hours Carmen is your girl. She would do great in an apartment. Carmen is current on all her vaccinations and is spayed. At her recent vet checkup Carmen tested positive for heart worms. She is currently on the slow-kill method in which the existing heart worms die off gradually and no new ones form. The slow-kill method is a less evasive method than some other treatments used. Carmen will need to be kept on a monthly preventative once adopted. Other than her heart worm status Carmen seems to be very healthy.
