Introducing DOMINIC a very handsome 2 year old 100 pound German Shepherd Dog sporting a sable coat who was rescued after found wandering the streets. At the time of his rescue this sweet boy was noticeably neglected showing infected wounds on numerous areas of his body most likely from laying for a long time on a hard hot surface. In addition his lips were raw from fly bites and his coat was filthy. Look at him now only a few weeks later Despite the previous neglect Dominic is full of life and a very happy pup who gives lots of kisses to his human and four legged companions. He has been around adults teens and children as young as 11 years old. He has been friendly with everyone. Dominic is easily sharing the house with other dogs and cats too Dominic really enjoys playing with toys and will play fetch until he drops. But he also enjoys a good snuggle on the couch or in bed wit his foster mom. He seems to like car rides playing in the back yard and going for walks. This sweet boy is also very smart - typical of his breed. He already knows some commands is obedient and has a desire to please. If Dominic needs to go potty in the morning he will wake up his foster mom. Dominic does not want to be left alone in the yard and will scratch at the door to be left inside. When his foster mom leaves the house Dominic is crated. He has been a very good dog in foster care.Dominick is a big boy and sometimes does not realize his size when he tries to climb into your lap. He doesn t seem to understand his size so he is a bit clumsy knocking things down with his wagging tail. Dominic is looking for a family that would open their home give him lots of love and spoil him rotten....after all Dominic is still a big puppy.This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian neutered inoculated against diseases dewormed tested for Heartworm Disease (negative) and placed on preventative plus microchipped.
