Full Time Prior Authorization Coordinator needed for a medical practice. Prior insurance experience a plus. This position will be responsible for obtaining prior authorization of procedures verifying insurance benefits maintaining a procedure schedule ensuring each patient on the schedule is pre-authorized providing procedure cost estimates to patients educating patients about payment policies and options providing detailed information to insurance companies copying chart notes that pertain to the procedure and sending it to the insurance companies.
