KERMIT From the photographer... Poor poor Kermit This sweet big ol boy was picked up as a stray and brought to the Athens Limestone Animal Shelter by animal control. Kermit is a big boy probably lab pit mix and as with so many strays that are brought to the shelter he is depressed. The whole time we were trying to get photos of him he sat in one spot and would NOT stand up. The only time he moved was when we coaxed him out of the wading pool in an effort to get him to stand. The pool was empty it just happened to be in the corner he sought refuge in. He does not appear to be injured. He likes gentle physical contact. He just seems dejected and depressed......and lost His demeanor seems such that he is probably somebody s pet and hopefully that his person will think to look for him at the shelter and he will be reclaimed but if not this poor sweet boy will be in need of a good forever home.
