You can t tell from my pictures but I am normally a long haired cat. I needed a new style for the summer as my coat was quite matted and my foster mom is allergic as well. I think it s quite cute on me. I was very good for my bath and my hair cut. I took up residence in a garage in the winter of 2015. The owner fed and watered me and made me a nice bed. I stayed there for 4 weeks. When it got really cold the nice owner took me to the vet to get me all checked over so I could find a warm forever home. It was noticed that I have a small problem with one of my eardrums and may not be able to hear out of that ear but I sure can hear when I m called so my other ear works just fine. It has also been determined that I should be on a high fiber diet. Hills Science Diet W D is working for me now. Other than that I have been pronounced healthy I put my paw on you gently when I want to be pet. Tummy rubs are the best I like to nap right next to you. I also LOVE my Turbo Scratcher. I currently live with small dogs and some cats and tolerate them very well if they re nice to me. I sure would like to have a forever family of my own again. Maybe you re the person for me. You won t know unless you come visit me. Just ask for Calliope. In case you didn t know that means beautiful voice and also was the muse who presided over eloquence and epic poetry. I have been told I have the cutest meow that is two notes low to high and it sounds like a question. I guess that might be why I am named Calliope.
