Lea AKA LeeLee is a 2-year-old 6 lb chi mix. Lea has been with us for quite a while. She came to us very ill and malnourished. She was also heartworm positive. LeeLee had to get healthy first before undergoing heartworm treatment. Her foster Anita nursed her back to health and Lea finished all three rounds of her heartworm treatment with no complications. Now LeeLee is heartworm negative and looking forward to her next chapter. LeeLee is a very scared and nervous dog. She needs a patient child-free home. LeeLee is fine with other dogs but will not play with them. She is a person dog a lap dog a one human ...this is my human I think I am a human child with an attitude...kind of dog. ) Lea will nip if you try to pull her out of a kennel or if a stranger tries to pick her up too fast. If you are slow quiet and steady Lea will come to you on her own. Once she chooses you she is loyal loving and will never leave your side. She has been in foster a long time.
