We would love to help you rescue a perfect pet Bismarck is a young black pit mix that came into our shelter as a stray. He s a good natured boy that loves any bit of attention you will show him. His reality is that he s just another young adult medium sized black pit mix boy at another city shelter waiting for someone to notice him. It s an unfair life to be born into for sure. Luckily Bismarck doesn t realize that. He s happy with life and accepts with gratitude every bit of kindness offered to him. When I had him out in the barnyard it was very bittersweet watching him. He so enjoyed the sun shining on his face and the feel of the cool grass under his belly. He took full advantage of being able to run and sniff but mostly he just wanted to be close to me. He took the treats I offered him nicely and he seemed to be relieved to be outside where he could do his business . I have not seen him around other dogs so for now I d like to suggest that if you are interested in a boy that is looking to be someone s heart dog and not just another pretty pittie face in a city shelter then please stop by with your resident dogs and help us make sure they will get along.
