The Chipettes (Brittany Jeanette & Eleanor) came to MHRR in Jan 2015 from Companion Animal Alliance as single ladies.Eleanor (solid white) quickly learned to use the litterbox about 90% and will probably be close if not perfect once she s away from the other bunnies. She is shy but comes around if you give her a moment. She can be a little fussy once in a blue moon if you reach for her stuff while cleaning her space and she is hungry but otherwise she is not aggressive at all. Eleanor would like to get out and stretch her legs a bit but overall is pretty mellow.This bun is fostered in Gonzales LA.MHRR spays neuters all rabbits prior to adoption. Rabbits are tattoed MHR in the ear during their spay or neuter (unless done prior to arrival at MHRR). Adoption fees are 50 for single bunnies or 70 for already-paired rabbits. Adoption application required.Adoption days are held at Petsmart on Millerville in Baton Rouge (see our website for dates). Transport to other areas can sometimes be arranged after adoption application approval. We also offer foster-to-adopt which is a trial run to see if a pet is the right fit prior to adoption.
