Hey all I m Rusty. I weigh about 50 pounds and I am looking for a family who wants to share their home with a really fun dog-- just like me Do not be fooled by the fact that I am a little older I do not act my age and I have lots of energy. Never fear though I will be so easy to exercise because I love to play fetch and I play with soccer type balls too When I am waiting for you to throw my ball I am very patient but I do an adorable little dance that will make you smile. I am a perpetually happy girl and always have a big grin on my face. After we play I ll want to spend time with you-- maybe we can work on some training. I am smart and attentive and I love treats When I am all tuckered out I want to cuddle with you. I love to be petted and I am really affectionate. I don t like to brag but all the volunteers here think I am super sweet. In my previous home I have been around another dog and children but not cats. I ll just need to meet your canine companions before I go home with you because I can be a bit picky about my dog friends. If you have older children then I ll be a happy camper (and I ll keep them busy playing fetch ). Please come meet me. I might steal your heart.
