Please take the time to read the entire profile. We spend alot of time putting as much info in them as possible. Thank you in advance.Sampson- Sampson is a HUGE English mastiff boy. He is a stunning fawn color with a larger then life personality. He is a huge dog and once filled out should be well into the 200 lb area. He is a great boy who just needs a family who can hang out with him enjoy him for the amazing dog he is and love him for who he is. He does need a home with no small kids as he is big and can knock them over. Plus he is more laid back and doesn t enjoy being pulled and prodded all the time. He is a great dog who we know will find an amazing home. Sampson came to us from his past family. He had been purchased from a breeder as a puppy. They loved him and spent a lot of time with him but it seems that he was often being boarded or with a dog sitter. He was not given solid training and soon began pushing his weight around. And there was a lot of weight to push around He was soon just to much dog for them to handle and they asked us for help. We are glad that we were able to help as he has become an amazing dog with a little training. Sampson is a great dog. He is amazing with other dogs cats and animals. He is a laid back guy who loves to hang out have a good time and watch you work in the yard He is not a fan of kids who are loud or going to clamber all over him. He does great with teens and adults who give him space and let him warm up to them. He needs a home that will set rules and boundaries but honestly he has been one of the easiest dogs we have had in a long time. He really just wants to be loved have a soft bed and a family that loves him. He just needs a family that will be with him. Sampson is up to date dewormed flea treated and dewormed. He is altered and a happy healthy guy. He came to us under weight but is getting up to weight with a little time. We do not want to have him gain weight any faster then needed so he can be happy and healthy. He is great dog and we adore him. He is house broken crate trained and does well on leash. He is a great dog but not a social butterfly and is not going to be a dog park type of dog. He prefers to be home and enjoy life at his own pace. He just needs a great home and loving family.Our rescue aims to help dogs who are passed by and over looked by most rescues and people. We help the dogs who are in need of medical care vetting training and breeds that most will not help with. In most shelters if you are large dog a big dog or a male dog from the moment you walk in you are on barrowed time. If you have docked ears or are a guardian breed your time was over before you walked in the doors. We aim to save these dogs and give them a second chance. Please help us save more lives by helping with our medical bills as they grow.
