Hello Everyone My name is Randy and I m a remarkably resilient and respectful bichon and a very loving little guy too. You see I came into rescue having been a stud . (Mom says that means I was so handsome and happy that someone called a breeder wanted to make lots of little bichons that were like me. And so she did.)Then one day she decided I was no longer needed so she took me to a shelter and left me there. Well I can tell you that was quite a shock Although the breeder did not provide a loving environment it was a different experience to be in the shelter. But my BFK Aunties found out that I was there and sprung me so that I could become the best little bichon boy that I can be.So along came my great foster Mom and my doggy foster brother Ollie. They have given me a comfortable home that I enjoy take me for lots of walks and rides in the car. (Mom says that every time she opens the door to the garage I race to the car ready to go for a ride anywhere ) They are teaching me commands (well Mom is.) I now come when I m called have learned to sit for my food and treats and I wait to be invited to jump up on the couch or bed. I m also housebroken loving and obedient.One thing that I want you to also know is that each day is filled with lots of new experiences. Whether it s the backyard doggie park sleeping on the Big People s Bed all of these are new to me. I m also trying to figure out what to do with toys (I haven t had them before either). Through it all my gentle spirit intelligence and willingness to trust have shown through.Did I mention also that I m expressive and like to talk I do what Mom calls doggy purring when I m happy. It s my own special way of communicating and Mom is very good at understanding what I mean Of course my tail wags at the same time so that s kind of a clue. I also have this way of snuggling with my head under her chin like a baby when she s holding me. It s my way of saying Thanks Mom for making my world so safe and for taking care of me.When you look at my upside down photo on the pillows you will appreciate that I m pure bichon. Of course I couldn t help myself now could I My hair is growing out (the breeder kept it very short) and soon I ll be one adorable white fluff.
