Rudy is a special little dog for us he came all the way to Iowa from a small shelter in southern Arkansas. He had been hit by a car and this shelter did not have the funds to get him help. We were able to arrange a trip to Iowa by plane thanks to Pilots n Paws and a couple of great pilots. Rudy had a broken leg dislocated hip and a cracked pelvis. Rudy had surgery and now has a plate and a few screws in his leg. It has healed beautifully and Rudy has made a full recovery. Rudy is now ready to find his forever home. Rudy is a one year old Chihuahua mix. He weighs 8.5 pounds and is a beautiful fawn color. Rudy is a happy dog who is ready to play. He has been waiting a long time to be able to freely play again so he would love to have another small dog in his new home to play with. Rudy loves everyone he meets. Even through all his vet visits and travel he was sweet to everyone and gave everyone kisses. Rudy is up to date on vaccinations neutered heartworm tested and microchipped.
