Additional info Iman is a 10 month old Ibizan hound Cattle mix who came to us all the way from Myanmar (formerly the country of Burma). Iman who weighs 35 lbs has had an amazing life story so far. Her mother was rescued from the floods that ravaged Myanmar last year. Mom was emaciated and ill but managed to give birth to 5 beautiful puppies. Mom died 6 days after giving birth and three of Iman s siblings also died - leaving her and her brother Bowie as the sole survivors of the little family. Iman gets along well with other dogs and is very friendly and outgoing with everyone including kids. She likes cats but she doesn t understand how not to play roughly with them. She might be ok with a cat if there is another dog in the house to focus her energy and attention on. Otherwise - not a good match with cats. She is used to living in a pack of other dogs and puppies and can be dominant but not overly so. She is housetrained. Right now Iman will bark or cry when left alone. We can support and help in resolving this issue. She needs someone who is committed to helping her settle down and lose her separation anxiety.
