Introducing the uniquely marked POGO a purebred English Bulldog who is approximately 2 years old and currently weighing 70 pounds and best of all a real cuddle bear. Pogo lives with several other dogs all of whom he does very well with in addition he is fine with kitties too. He enjoys playing in the fenced yard going for shorter walks and hanging out with his foster mom and dad. Pogo is a goofy fun lovable guy who would love a new home and family of his own.Pogo loves to take a ride in the car any time he hears the jingle of car keys he runs expectantly to the door. Pogo walks very well on leash is housebroken and has good house manners so he does not require crating. As with most short snouted dogs he does not do well in hot weather so its important to monitor his condition in extreme temperatures.At the time of rescue Pogo was suffering from malnutrition and emaciation (31 pounds) skin infections eye infections cherry eyes (3rd eyelid infected and swollen) and dehydration. Based on his recovery Pogo appears to have been deliberately starved and abused by his owner. Thankfully his rescuer has successfully nursed him back to health over the past few months. Pogo is feeling so much better he has doubled his weight received two eye surgeries to correct the cherry eyes and received routine vetting.Pogo is now seeking his adoptive family person. He would do best in a household that has other dogs with whom he can play and spend time with and an adopter who knows about the specific needs of Bulldogs. This dog has been examined by a licensed veterinarian received inoculations been dewormed neutered and microchipped plus tested for Heartworm Disease.
