I am currently enrolled with the PPL Partnerships Program thru the state of Pennsylvania if you are familiar with this program. I do not have to go thru them to do this line of work I am just making that known for those who it may apply to. I have been doing this line of work for over 10 years now. I have an upbeat and compassionate personality. I have the patience and necessary skills that it takes to deal with difficult situations that may arise. I am interactive with the client so that it may stimulate their brain function everyday for mental exercise. I believe that it is vital and necessary for the individual to feel that they are being genuinely cared for so there can be a relationship built and trust between myself and the individual and progress can be made. I can take care of patients with physical and mental disabilities aspiration issues dementia and a variety of others. I can also administer medications and prepare regular meals as well as liquid diets and more. I can do house work yard work help with pets and other tasks that may be asked of me. I want to be right up front with my transportation issue. I ve been fortunate to have transportation provided by the clients family members because I am good at what I can provide for their loved one ones. I state that I want the local area in Brookville Pa so that I can also walk if it is in a reasonable walking distance. Yes this does pose as an issue for most but I am the right person for this job. It shows in the client pretty quick once I ve been in their home and have had some interaction with the client. I enjoy doing this line of work.
