We own our Fleet and are proud of it we like to keep as much work in-house as possible So you won t just be responsible for oil changes and tire rotations you will be exposed to preventive maintenance services inspections electrical repairs electrical hydraulic suspension brake and air systems on our growing fleet of CNG trucks. The Day-To-Day Our shop in Ottawa is looking for a licenced Mechanic on the evening shift. You will be working in a small team minimal supervision so it will be important that you are motivated and task-oriented.Safety is huge at WM and it s important to us that you go home to your loved ones each day. We train all employees on safe work practices supply everything necessary to ensure safe work environments and ensure our safety culture is embraced by all employees.You will have the opportunity to utilize our vehicle computer electronics systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs estimate time and material costs on vehicle repairs and requisitions new parts. We also offer (and encourage you to take advantage of ) state-of-the-art training for all Technicians. This is online OEM Certified training for Cummins Freightliner Mack and Alison transmissions.
