Music Lessons for All Ages in San Francisco-New Teaching Studio
My name is Lorenzo. I m a musician who teaches private music lessons in San Francisco. I ve recently opened a brand new teaching studio on Mission Street and have time slots available for students of all ages and levels. I teach the following instruments Guitar Drums Piano Bass Ukulele. I m interested in teaching from all types of musical genres and traditions including but not limited to rock jazz pop metal blues etc...My goal as a teacher is to deliver inspiring music lessons in a relaxed supportive environment that follows the creative and personal interests of the student while also teaching necessary music fundamentals. I have years of experience teaching music to both kids and adults both 1 on 1 and in group settings and work great with younger kids. Emphasis is placed on subjects such as note reading (standard notation and TAB) theory (chords scales intervals rhythms) ear training technique improvisation learning songs and listening to music expanding our listening palette. I have lots of teaching materials available for students to use including both method books and personalized handouts. I have been playing and listening to music since a young age and had the privilege of studying with some wonderful teachers both privately and through education. I moved to San Francisco in 2011 and graduated from San Francisco State University in 2015 with a Bachelors of Arts in Music. I ve played with numerous bands and musicians over the years and continue to perform write my own music and learn. For me music is a lifelong pursuit that is truly about the journey and is meant for all to enjoy. Lessons are held at my studio near the intersection of Mission St Geneva Ave. The studio is cozy but professional and equipped with amplification electric drums and a weighted keyboard for student use. The studio also has a small waiting area and a restroom. Lesson fees are 35-1 2 hour 55-45 min 70-1 hourPayment plans and methods flexible depending on your needs.
