Original etching and aquatint in brown ink on creme laid paper by French Impressionist Edouard Manet. Third state. Titled La Convalescente the print shows a person recovering from a malady. The etching was created in 1876-8 this impression was published in 1894 by Edmond Bazire. This piece is number 85 in Jean Harris s Catalogue Raisonne of Manet s prints pp. 221-224.
