Great vintage drum kit by original owner from the mid-50s..great studio jazz or big band sound of the fourties. Kit includes three Gretsch original drums 14x22 16x16 8x12 with original shell coverings and round badges. 14x22 and 8x12 were direct from Brooklyn N.Y. factory in the mid-50s 16x16 was added in late 50s .Rogers 6 1 2x14 chrome on metal snare Camco heavy duty hi-hat stand.Cymbals included..Zildjian Avedis Zildjian and an Italin made thin crash. Gretsch original traps bass pedal snare stand floor stand cymbal stand on bass. Covers include bass floor 8x12 cymbals and fiber case for snare and traps.This kit has been issued a writen notice to the owner from the Gretsch manufacturing company in Ridgeland S.C. back in 2019 about the rarity of the kit including the shell covering condition and the rare 14x22 bass with 8-lug single tension adjustments...and will increase in value over the coming years.
