Original brush and spatter lithograph on laid Japan paper in black ink by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Artist s mongram on the stone lower left. Titled Une Spectatrice pendant la Chanson de Polin (A spectator watching the singer Polin) this work was published in 1893 as part of a portfolio depicting popular performers in Parisian Cafe Concerts. Polin was a performer who poked fun at the French military in various Parisian Concert Cafes. This impression comes from the deluxe edition of 50 on handmade laid Japan paper.
