Eastway Tank Pump and Meter Ltd. is looking for full time Welders for Napean Ontario K2G 1G1 location. 6 Positions available. Minimum of 4 years experience with Aluminum MIG or TIG welding.Experience with stainless steel MIG or TIG welding is an asset but not mandatory.Main duties are as follows but not limited to Operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fuse metal segments using processes such as gas tungsten arc welding (GTAW) gas metal arc welding (GMAW) flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) plasma arc welding (PAW) shielded metal arc welding (SMAW) oxy-acetylene welding (OAW) resistance welding and submerged arc welding (SAW) Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment Operate brazing and soldering equipment Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers. Welding pipes Fabricating boxes and cabinets or similar structures Truck body repairs or fabrication Welding brazing and soldering machine operators Installation of pumps gear boxes and hydraulic systems Start up shut down adjust and monitor robotic welding production line Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding brazing and soldering equipment Previous experience in welding on tanks or pressure vessels and pipe fitting is an asset but not mandatory.Successful candidate will be responsible for training and supervising 1-2 employees and must be able to work effectively as a member of a team and have a positive can-do attitude. Must be able to communicate in English. Hours of work are 8.5 hours day Mon-Fri and overtime as required. Pay is 23 hour. Successful candidates must speak English. Must have secondary school diploma.
