About the Position Graham Windham s Family Foster Care program seeks a Supervisor forits Bronx Regional office to build and lead a strong team that provides andcoordinates excellent quality care and healing to Graham Windham s children andensures that every one of the children on the caseload is living a nurturing safe and permanent family as quickly as possible. Provides coaching and support to staff to reinforce qualitycase practice using Solution-Based Casework. Providesformal and informal supportive programmatic and clinical supervision toeach team member holds formal individual supervision weekly and teammeetings on a monthly basis. Evaluatesstaff performance accurately assessing the strengths and developmentalneeds of team members. Holdsstaff accountable for strong performance. Ensuresappropriate record-keeping. Respondsto case emergencies (after hours when necessary) Musthave excellent customer service skills Mustbe able to collaborate across programs Ensurethe safety and well-being of children Whennecessary conduct home visits school visits and attend court hearings Mustuphold the agency Pillars at all time Performsother duties assigned to advance excellent casework practice. Qualifications Master s Degree in Social Work (MSW LMSW) or related field Ability toteach train and coach team members Time management Stress tolerance Teambuilding & Teamwork Excellent written & oral communication skills Ability to with diversepopulation 5 years of child welfare foster care experience 1 year Foster Caresupervisory managerial experience. Familiaritywith Administration for Children Services (ACS) Office of Children & Family Services(OCFS) Office of Mental Retardation & DevelopmentalDisabilities(OMRDD) Department of Youth & Community Development (DYCD) andother relevant municipal and state agencies Ability to use MS Office andCONNECTION Ability to travel within the 5 boroughs of NYC Long Island andWestchester Bilingual (Spanish English) preferred.
