Position Infant Daycare WorkerTerms of employment Full-time PermanentWage 22.00 - 25.00 hour (depending on experience)Hours 30-40 hours weekBenefits 4% vacation pay Group Insurance Benefits Job Duties Bathe diaper and feed infants and toddlers Involve in childcare programs to promote physical cognitive emotional and social development of children Plan activities by reading stories teaching songs taking children to field-trips of interest Always maintain healthy and safe learning environment for children Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods Evaluate the abilities interests and needs of children and discuss progress or problems with parents and other staff members Keep records on individual children including observations for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems and prepare reports for parents or supervisor Help and assist children build proper eating dressing and toilet habits Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of childrens Educational Requirements College Certificate or Diploma in Early Childhood Education Employment Requirements First Aid Certificate & CPR Certificate E.C.E.
