Nine St. Hialeah FL 33010 is currently hiring a Forklift General LaborJob Description To deliver quality customer service while maintaining a work environment that is clean safe and stocked with the products our customers need. As a Forklift General Labor this means Associate completes merchandising resets and service-related projects accurately on time and in accordance with merchandising and safety standards. To be successful this associate must be able to follow detailed project instructions. The Associate builds displays rotates and prices stock and resolves project issues or questions. Utilizes Forklift as needed in display build and stock movement.ResponsibilitiesForklift Certification Physical ability to perform tasks that may require prolonged standing sitting and other activities necessary to perform job duties. Minimally must be able to lift 25 pounds without assistance may lift over 25 pounds with or without assistance. Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (e.g. hand tools drills saws). QualificationsAbility to read write and perform basic arithmetic (addition subtraction). Ability to work overnight and weekends as required. Ability to utilize web based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks. High school diploma or equivalent. 6 months of sales floor experience. 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms setting up and tearing down displays. 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts order pickers and similar equipment Working knowledge of basic tools needed for the job (e.g. hand tools drills saws). LANGUAGE SKILLSAbility to read analyze technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to fill in reports. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers clients customers and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLSAbility to effectively read and interpret a measuring tape. REASONING ABILITYAbility to define problems collect data establish facts and draw valid conclusions. CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS or TRAININGForklift Certification Valid driver s license. OSHA 10 Certification Preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT and PHYSICAL DEMANDSEmployee is frequently required to stand walk sit talk and or hear for long periods of time. The employee must regularly lift and or move up to 10 pounds frequently lift and or move 25 pounds and occasionally more than 50 pounds.
