Akron Area Company is seeking a Set-up Technician. The Set-up Technician s will be setting molds secondary fixtures starting mold machines welders and secondary fixtures. The set-up will also store and retrieve molds and fixtures maintain mold records and perform minor mold fixture preventative maintenance. Ensure that parts are being manufactured and packaged properly.REQUIREMENTSHigh School Diploma of GED Must be able to pass required company skill level testing Must have good math skills (multiplication division percentages X-bar & R charts let down ratios) Must have basic computer skills Must be able to learn blow molding injection process secondary and robot equipment Must be mechanically inclined Must provide own tools and storage cabinet within six months Must be able to obtain companies forklift license (internal training program provided Ability to learn hydraulic electrical and water needs on molds and basic plastic knowledge Must have good communication skills (written & verbal) Must be able to lift carry push & pull 100lbs (must exercise good judgement) Able to work 2nd Shift 3pm-11pm Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
