Material Handlers typically use RF Scan guns for inventory and pallet jacks to move material. The position also prepares finished stock for shipment. Job Responsibilities Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas Sort and place materials or items on racks shelves or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size type style or product code Restock material in assigned bin location Fill requisitions for materials and distribute items to designated delivery trucks Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band bundles together package orders for shipping pick up or truck delivery Measure cut and package material Complete Material Movement paperwork Open boxes crates and other containers Examine stock for deterioration and defects and reports findings Assist in counting of physical inventor Always keep warehouse and work area organized Wear safety equipment always MUST wear hardhat at all times during work hours Perform facilities maintenance duties as needed Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs Job Requirements Experience in warehouse work preferred Lifting up to 50 lbs.
