36 Pc Marathon Gas - BC Cartoon - Promo Glasses and Pitcher 1970
This is a vintage 36 piece set of promotional glasses given to customers by Marathon Gas & Oil during the 1970 s when the customer filled up at one of their stations. There are 22 large tumblers 12 small tumblers and one large pitcher. The pitcher measures 9 tall at the lip and 4 3 4 across the top. The large tumblers measure almost 4 tall and a little over 3 across at the top. The small tumblers measure almost 3 1 2 tall and 2 1 2 across the top. All of them are in excellent condition with no cracks nicks or chips. This is a good chance for you to get a very good start on a complete collection of this set of glassware from Marathon Oil. Also included is a booklet from Marathon Oil called I Know Your Car published about 1978. The front says it covers things you can do before calling a mechanic how to react to sudden emergencies while driving plus other valuable information. It also has a place to record a service record in the back. The booklet is in really good shape a little scuffed on the outside and a small place where it s dented but the pages look new.
