The Controls Engineer is responsible for the design application and upkeep of electronic controls to safely control industrial machinery and devices and to maximize productivity. Also responsible for general electrical circuits in the plant such as bus circuits utility interface etc. REQUIREMENTSBachelor s degree in electrical engineering technology. 3 years experience in electrical engineering Must have experience with robotics Must have experience programming PLC and CNC s. (Client Allen-Bradley and other industrial PLC controls) Must have experience in a Manufacturing environment. Must be able to understand what others have done and continue to enhance machines and spec out new machines that are built in house to include all the controls work. Knowledge of production cycle. Kaizen and Lean Manufacturing techniques Must have excellent mathematic skills. Microsoft Office (Excel Word Outlook) experienced. Experience with AutoCAD Ability to use Level 3 tools Must have good communication skills (verbal & written) Must be able to understand and debug nested looping logic for control programming. Must be able to test and separate cause and effect. Knowledge of OSHA and related safety regulations including LockOut TagOut and Arc Flash Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
