Maintenance Technician(s) (Industrial) - Mechanical Electrical Hydraulics - Youngstown (area) OH - JOB 21-00083Pay Range 20.00 - 29.00 HR - Contract to Direct HireOnly U.S. Citizens or persons with a Green Card work permit may apply.Night Shift 7 00 PM 7 00 AM (14 - 16 Days a Month) - Number of Openings 4 An aluminum extrusion company is seeking to hire some Industrial Maintenance Mechanics for their night shift to maintain production and quality by ensuring operation of machinery and mechanical equipment.REQUIREMENTSPrefer candidates that have 2 or more years of work experience in equipment maintenance in an industrial environment. Candidates must have experience with mechanical electrical and hydraulics. Seeking candidates that have preventive and predictive maintenance. Must be self-motivated and willing to troubleshoot and learn multiple functions within the plant including mechanical electrical and facility related systems. Must be able to read blue prints schematics and technical manuals. Must be able to stand during shift bend reach and lift up to 60 pounds. Willingness and ability to train others. Ability to remain flexible in supporting off-shift hours weekend and overtime as needed. DUTIESEnsures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on engines motors pneumatic tools conveyor systems and production machinery following diagrams sketches operations manuals manufacturer s instructions and engineering specifications troubleshooting malfunctions. Locates sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation listening for problems using precision measuring and testing instruments. Removes defective parts by dismantling devices using hoists cranes and hand and power tools. Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments by using hand tools etc. Installs repairs and maintains the electrical plumbing mechanical and other related systems to keep the facility operating. Fabricates needed parts by using machine shop instruments and equipment conserves maintenance resources by using equipment and supplies as needed to accomplish job results. Assists in overseeing and inspecting any contract maintenance work supplied by a third party such as equipment installation electrical plumbing mechanical related systems. Controls downtime by informing Maintenance Supervisor and or Plant Manager of routine maintenance needs monitoring compliance replacing or replenishing machine fluids coolants and lubricants Candidates are required to pass a Criminal Background Check and a 10 Panel Drug Screen.
