The PeopleReady Branch located at Syracuse NY is currently hiring a Sand Plastic Molder Job DescriptionPeopleReady is now hiring a Sand Plaster Molder.Responsibilities Include Responsible for weighting and mixing plaster-sand subsequently pouring it into a mold. Fills and vibrates molds during sand packing process. Checks weights of sand-plaster catalyst and binders and reports discrepancies from specifications to supervisor. Using pacemaster machine fills and vibrates molds while manually packing sand. Strikes off excess sand. uses rollover machine or manually strips pattern when sand has hardened. Inspects mold for flaking sand broken parts etc. and condition of pattern. Weighs plaster and water and mixes together. Pours plaster into mix mold. Uses strike off bar to level plaster with top of mold. Strips molds removes flask visually inspects removes flash and makes minor repairs. Qualifications Loads mold into ovens. Clean mold and flasks. Completes and or maintains required reports and records. Meets quality and quantity standards for the position. Proactively supports the ISO process approach to quality management and the Syteline MIS system. Adheres to all safety policies and practices consistently uses protective personal equipment and practices good housekeeping. Maintains regular one time attendance and adheres to company policies procedures and standards of conduct. Maintains a positive professional approach with all internal and external controls. Performs other tasks as directed.
