As a Dishwasher you would clean dishes kitchen food preparation equipment or utensils in addition to other responsibilities. Dishwashers will often have to collaborate with other kitchen workers servers and management so strong communication is a valued trait. The position can be on tight deadlines if there is a high volume of customers so flexibility is desirable as well.Pay Rate for this Job is 10 HourResponsibilities Include Setting up and breaking down dish machine thoroughly cleaning the dish machine Washing sorting and stacking of all dishes dish racks glassware flatware utensils and other food and beverage equipment Assisting with the transportation of food and equipment to event locations Assisting with concierge lounge food transportation and service Assisting on dish-up lines setting and resetting food warmers service lines and carts with dishes and plates for service Assists in set up and maintaining cleanliness in restaurant and indoor and outdoor event space. Assist culinary restaurant and banquet staff as needed by running food dishes and equipment. Actively taking care of each guest according to The Waterfront Inn guest service standards and department standards Monitoring and food waste and controlling dish breakage Maintain kitchen and restaurant cleanliness and overall deep cleaning. Maintains cleanliness of carts shelves and food warmers Sweep mop and scrub kitchen floors as needed. Clean all trash receptacles and loading dock area as needed Breaking down boxes disposing of trash and placing recyclables in the appropriate containers Communicates product needs or shortages as well as any necessary equipment repairs promptly to Chefs or Supervisors Any other additional responsibilities that may be asked by General Manager or other Managers Chefs and Supervisor This job description is an overview of the scope of responsibilities for this job and is not intended to be an inclusive list of job tasks and expectations. Ensures each guest receives outstanding service by providing a friendly professional environment. Maintains cleanliness throughout the hotel. Cleans the outside general areas as well as inside. Vacuums dusts mops and organizes hotel areas. Compile all supplies and equipment needed for each function ensure that all are clean and in good repair and report any problems to management. This includes physically transporting tables chairs staging dance floors portable bars service ware serving pieces carts linen and more from storage areas to function area. Complete assigned duties with respect to set-up and servicing of function rooms areas. This includes setting up rooms per guest specifications and as directed physically setting up and moving tables and chairs setting tables with linens service ware and condiments and clearing same placing skirts on tables setting up buffet lines and coffee breaks and refreshing replenishing same pouring and replenishing beverages and more. Complete assigned duties with respect to break down and cleaning of function rooms area. This includes breaking down tables chairs and any other equipment in room and returning equipment to proper storage areas transporting dirty service ware and serving pieces to dishwashing area for cleaning transporting soiled linen to laundry breakdown and storage of utensils audiovisual equipment break down cleaning and storage of portable bars vacuuming carpet dusting window sills and fixtures cleaning and organizing service areas and coolers and more. Carry large and small trays Containing trays of soiled service ware through crowded areas. Attend pre-function meetings as requested. Takes garbage out and assists housekeeping department with additional cleaning projects. Folds any remaining linen or towels in laundry.
