The PeopleReady located at Bristol Connecticut 6010 is currently hiring a Shipper Receiver Job Description Shipper Receiver (1st shift). Hours are 7 00 am -3 00 pm - 1 opening. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 14.5 Hour Responsibilities Include Manage the packaging shipment and or receipt of products materials and supplies in a timely and efficient manner. Package outbound shipments such that the material arrives to the customer in good condition to include creating material and shipping labels. Prepare packaging and shipping documents and validate contents of outbound shipments against documentation. Transact shipments receipts in ERP system Promptly unload trucks and deliveries. Maintain a clean and organized area. Pull product from inventory as needed for outgoing shipments and or internal production needs. Ensure packaging materials are stocked properly with the appropriate stocking levels. Ensure all safety initiatives are followed and focus on reducing risks related to the shipping receiving area. Perform other job-related duties as assigned. Qualifications Fork lift certification Able to lift 50 Ibs Strong sense of time organization and urgency with attention to detail. Receiving stocking and stacking. Pulling packing and loading. Ability to multitask and adjust to meet internal external customer s needs. Ability to work independently and within a team. Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted. Ability to use forklift and pallet jack to move inventory. Ability to use a large overhead hoist for packaging or receipt of product. High school degree GED required.
