The PeopleReady located at Lafayette Louisiana 70506 is currently hiring a CDL Driver Job Description This position is responsible for the safe driving of the hostler yard truck the transporting of trailers to and from the yard and dock doors Responsibilities The responsibilities of the Driver include but are not limited to Equipment Operation Driving a yard truck. Must have Current CDL Move trailers into proper location Perform 2 yard checks per shift Clean the yard Clean the trucks Clean the warehouse when asked Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and MSDS Standards. Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the Yard Hustler. Must ensure a solid understanding of and comply with the principles of the company s Code of Ethics. Must examine situations considering the principles of the Code of Ethics. Qualifications High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred Commercial Driver s License (CDL) Three years of driving experience with CDL license. Must be able to unload transport and position all building materials as required
