The PeopleReady located at Little Canada Minnesota 55117 is currently hiring a Production Worker Job Description NOW HIRING - APPLY TODAY A production workeris responsible for assembling and checking product parts ensuring that all machinery runs smoothly and assisting in the shipment of items. Production Workerperform a variety tasks to strive for their main goal of ensuring that manufactured products meet certain standards of quality. Pay Rate for this Job is 13 Hour Responsibilities Include Coring of Lettuce and Cabbage with tools recommended by Team or Area Lead. Hand cutting and peeling numerous types of fruits and vegetables. Being able to operate and read scales. General clean up duties (sweeping emptying garbage etc.) Washing down equipment with hoses. Operate any equipment necessary for the Production lines such as conveyors bin dumps potato peelers etc. Ensure Product Quality Follow all Maps. Food Safety as it relates to this position. Any other tasks assigned by supervisor. Qualifications High School diploma or equivalent Previous food production experience preferred Basic English skills Ability to work in a cold environment (0 degrees to 40 degrees) and wet at all times Must be able to stand and or walk for long periods of time (8 hours per day) Ability to lift to 50 pounds on a regular and consistent basis Background Check required Saturday work required
