The PeopleReady located at Tampa Florida 33619 is currently hiring a Packaging Clerk Job Description Clerk is responsible for reviewing paperwork for all outgoing units to make sure the paperwork is accurate including Serial Numbers Unit Numbers Customer shipping address etc and that the paperwork is with the correct unit. Clerk then packs the units for shipping weighs the boxes and writes the dimensions and weights on their copy of the Packing List puts on the appropriate cart as Waiting for a Shipping Label and gives the paperwork to the appropriate Shipping Receiving Clerk . Once the Shipping Labels have been received back the Clerk enters the tracking information into the Software (if necessary) places a copy of the Packing List in on the box attaches the Shipping Label and moves the boxes to the appropriate Outgoing Shipping Table. Clerk will assist with unpacking incoming packages. The Clerk will verify units match the proper paperwork on all incoming shipments and fill out the information on the appropriate Receiving Log including the unit PO SO RMA Ticket Customer Vendor Unit Numbers and number of Units. The Clerk will then place the units and paperwork on the appropriate cart for Receiving. Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 12 Hour - 14 Hour Shift Timing 1st shift (Day) Responsibilities Once these tasks are mastered Clerk may also be trained to complete various other Receiving Shipping tasks utilizing our Software Systems as backup to the Receiving Shipping Clerks. Clerk may also be required to do general warehouse duties such as cleaning sweeping breaking down boxes taking trash to dumpster and other general tasks as requested. Clerk must be attentive with units at all times since they can be easily damaged by improper handling and packing.
