SUMMARY Management Business Solutions is seeking a Sr. HR Generalist for our client in Prichard WV. This person will be responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in a designated business unit. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful Sr. HR Generalist acts as a change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs. RESPONSIBILITIES Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships build morale and increase productivity and retention. Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective thorough and objective investigations. Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Analyzes trends and metrics in partnership with the HR group to develop solutions programs and policies. Maintain Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) records. Provide HR guidance with line management when appropriate. Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management including coaching counseling career development disciplinary actions etc. Provide basic HR Policy guidance and interpretation. Identify training needs for business unit. Recruiting and onboarding of new employees. Conduct New Hire Orientations. Participates in daily meetings with varying departments. COMPETENCIES Business Acumen Communication Ethical Practice HR Expertise Relationship Management Good General Computer Skills as well as Microsoft Office (Especially Microsoft Excel). Ability to push management in the direction that they need to go. QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor s degree in HR Management or related field required. Master s degree in HR Management or related preferred. Minimum of 3 years of human resources generalist experience required. Strong Microsoft Office skills required. Training & Development background is highly preferred.
