Durose Manufacturing Ltd A leader and progressive manufacturer of fabricated Steel products is seeking Welders for their facility at 460 Elizabeth Street Guelph ON N1E 6C1.7 Positions available. Main duties are as follows but not limited to Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment Use various hand power hydraulic and pneumatic tools and equipment Required to weld 1 8th to 3 inch carbon steel Experienced in GMAW and FCAW processes Operate brazing and soldering equipment Operate metal shaping machines such as brakes shears and other metal straightening and bending machines Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers. Flat & Horizontal All position an asset Set up and Perform SMAW GMAW FCAW air carbon arc gouging etc. Setup and Operate machinery i.e. ironworkers drill press beveling machines fuel heating and cutting equipment Operate previously set up welding machines such as spot butt and seam resistance or gas and arc welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts Operate previously set up brazing or soldering machines to bond metal parts or to fill holes indentations and seams of metal articles with solder Start up shut down adjust and monitor robotic welding production line Assist with the maintenance and repair of welding brazing and soldering equipment May adjust welding heads and tooling according to work specifications Prepare welding joints as per specification Should be able to Setup and operate welding fixtures and rolls for manual and machine welding Hours of work are 8 hours day Mon-Fri. Pay is 25 hour. Successful candidates will speak English and have a high school diploma.
