The PeopleReady located at Maple Plain Minnesota 55359 is currently hiring a Production Assembler Job Description NOW HIRING - APPLY TODAY Production Assembler will work independently or with other production personnel to ensure completion of production requirements. This will be accomplished by cutting assembling and testing components and assemblies as required Note - Pay Rate for this Job is 16 Hour - 16.50 Hour Shift Timing -1st Shift (Day) & 2nd Shift (Evening) Responsibilities Include Leak testing of tanks and assemblies Inspection of assembled components Conduct secondary operations such as routing and flaming Assure paperwork procedures are being followed Keep work areas clean and organized Promote a positive and productive working environment Suggest cost savings or cycle time reduction ideas Be flexible to support various operations within the department Document updates to work instructions as required Other duties as assigned Qualifications Competence Experienced with assembly processes and equipment Experienced in the use of assembly tools and fixtures Good organizational skills self-motivated flexible and able to prioritize. Ability to work well with others Physical ability to handle parts and materials up to 60 pounds and to work long days in a warm environment Additional skills as deemed necessary Other duties as assigned Education High School graduate or equivalent preferred Physical Demands Medium to heavy physical activities requiring stooping kneeling crouching reaching handling talking hearing and close vision. The employee must occasionally lift up to 60 pounds or more. Exposure to hazardous equipment moving parts and minor burns and cuts. Environment & Physical Surrounds Typically a very hot and dirty environment.
