We are currently hiring a full-time Line Cook for our kitchen who will bring their culinary passion and skills to support out kitchen team. Employer name PAUL Bakery Caf & RestaurantWork Location 1164 Robson St Vancouver BC V6E 1B2Position Title Line CookTerms of Employment Full-time PermanentEstimated Starting Date As soon as possiblePosition available 1Wage 17.25 - 18.50 per hour (depending on experience)Work Hours 30-40 hours per weekBenefit 4% vacation pay & Group Insurance Benefits & Tips Job Duties Set up cooking utensils prepare ingredients and cook food according to recipe per the instructions of the Chef Communicate with wait staff on daily specials and dietary restrictions as needed Work with Chef Kitchen Manager to oversee kitchen operations and delegate tasks to kitchen helper staff in order to ensure the quality and efficiency of meal preparation Maintain inventory and records of food ensuring freshness of food and discarding out-of-date items as necessary Maintain the cleanliness of workstations and follow health and safety regulations from PAUL corporation and local authorities Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers providing guidance and support to new trainees as necessary Qualification Completion of secondary school is required Completion of a three-year apprenticeship program for cooks OR completion of college or other program in culinary arts or food safety OR 1 year of commercial cooking experience is required Outstanding communication and teamwork skills are required Ability to time-manage and work under pressure is required How to ApplyPlease e-mail us your resume and cover letter to samjeongemployment(at)gmail.com with the subject line of PAUL Bakery Caf & Restaurant Line Cook Position .
